Fresh, ripe mango is delicious in blended margaritas. I love this frozen mango margarita recipe made with tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, some agave nectar and plenty of ice.
Frozen Mango Margarita Recipe
1 cup chopped fresh mango
2 ounces blanco or reposado tequila such as Patron or Cabo Wabo
1 ounce clear orange liqueur such as Cointreau
1 ounce fresh lime juice
1 to 2 tablespoons light agave nectar
2 cups ice cubes
Add mango, tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice and agave nectar to blender container. Cover and blend until smooth. Add ice; cover and blend until smooth and icy. Pour into chilled glasses. Garnish with fresh mango chunks or lime wedges.
Makes 2 margaritas (about 2 1/2 cups total)
Tip: The amount of agave nectar needed depends on the sweetness of the mango and personal taste. Start by blending in 1 tablespoon and add more as needed. If you don’t have agave nectar, simple syrup can be substituted.

Hi!
That looks absolutely delicious. I love mango anything, and was recently disappointed to discover that my local grocer wasn’t carrying fresh mango anymore because of the recall! Oh well…there’s always next summer!
